What is the best way to get an old coffee stain out of my carpet? Nothing works!?

It has been there for a while and it is rather large. I have tried every cleaner at Walmart.

    try soaking it with peroxside then soaking up with a paper towel.

    Try a solution of 3 parts water and 1 white vinegar. Let it sit on there for a few minutes and then swab it up with a towel.

    vinegar removes all kinds of things without really staining or damaging the fabric.

    My son spills his coffee on my carpeting all of the time, and I use Simple Solution, and it works quite well.

    Make a solution using Oxyclean – following the directions on the package. It even worked on red wine on my carpet.

    The chances are pretty good that the stain is set by now. But you might try making a paste of oxyclean, letting it dry on the spot, then shampooing the area.

    I use 409 for tough stains. Not the 409 carpet cleaner, the 409 kitchen cleaner. Spot check first, though.
