if you have some spray and wash or some shout (that’s what i use), then put it on the cap without wetting it first, and rub it in a little bit. then wait about five mins. rinse the stain with cold water and it should come out.
if you don’t have any shout then use toothpaste and cold water.
after you’ve done this, just wash it with a little bit of laundry detergent in the sink and rinse it again with cold water.
    air dry.

just make sure you don’t use hot water or the dryer, because it sets in the stain.

Soak your hat in cold water with some detergent to lift out the stain. Then use a pre-treat, like Shout, and put your hat in the top rack of the dishwasher and wash…turn off the heat dry. Repeat if necessary.

I have used peroxide to remove blood from clothes, even after it had dried. Just wet the spot; you can agitate the spot a little, either by rubbing or use a brush. Wash the cap, and it should come out. It has not failed me yet.

Dab it with peroxide, not bleach. It won’t take the color out.
