hydrogen peroxide! It will come out right away! It always works my whole family has used it for years and it works especially well to take out period stains.

Here is what it looks like in case you don’t know what it is

Fresh blood can be easily removed by using peroxide. Just pour it over the stained area and let it soak, then rinse it in cold water.

A combination of white distilled vinegar and salt should do the trick.

LOL @ "stop killing people" answer. But seriously… doesn’t peroxide bleach stuff? Won’t it also take the color out of the comforter?

Anyway, I don’t remember where I read this but I have tried it and it WORKS. It’s as simple as a bar of Ivory soap! I don’t know how or why Ivory soap does the trick, but I’ve used it on all kinds of laundry stains and I wish I’d known about it years ago. Just rub the actual bar of soap on the stain, maybe let it sit there for a few minutes, and then rinse it off. I guess with a comforter you’ll have to drag the whole thing into the bathroom or wherever to rinse it, but just do the part that’s stained (obviously).

Let me know if this works as well for you as it did for me. I’m really curious! And I’m going to also try to find out where I read that and if I do, I’ll post it. GOOD LUCK!
