Help! I’m renting a house with white carpet, and my puppy keeps having accidents (mostly #2). What is the best way to get rid of the stains so that I won’t have to replace the carpet?

Have you tried Resolve or Spot Shot. I know that Resolve has a formula specifically for pet stains and odors.

first make sure that you pour vinegar on the stain immediately after the pee or you will stain the carpet forever and destroy the backing. Use OUT with enzymes to kill the odor and destroy the stains.

The darn dye in the puppy food is such a pain to remove! I used Hot Shot found in most stores, you must use a cotton or towel type of cloth.Follow directions on the can.Wouldn,t use it on colored carpets! I removed cherry stains from a white carpet with the Hot Shot….It’s as close as you can get to dry cleaning products.GL!

Shasta Club Soda. Pour it on the stain. Cover it and let it soak in. Then get you a carpet cleaner.

The ONLY thing you can use that will work is an enzyme cleaner. They can be found in any pet shop. I use Simple Solution. You probably have a greater problem, though. The urine has probably gone into the padding and there’s nothing you can do. If you call Stanley Steemer they will tell you they can clean the nap, but they can’t do anything about the padding.
