    Hydrogen Peroxide works great, even on old blood stains. Just pour it on stain and let it sit a while, you may have to repeat a few times if it’s an old stain. You can also try this; pour peroxide on stain, once it is soaked in to material, make a paste with powdered laundry detergent & place over stain also, scrub lightly with a brush. I do this frequently. Good Luck

    Soak it in cold water and be sure to have tampons the next time in order to prevent this.

    If you can’t soak it right away in cold water then try a product called SPOT SHOT it comes in a blue can with an orange cap and it is supposed to work on old stains to but I know for a fact that it works on fresh blood stains it got it of my light colored couch when my cat scratched me.

    Hair spray works wonders on stains, also try WD-40 then rinse in soapy water to get the WD-40 off the fabric

    The Dreft Stain Remover that is made for babies is the best I have ever used. Spray that on about 5 mins. before washing. Add a scoop of Oxiclean in with the load and you should be in business. If the item is white you can use a Clorox Bleach Pen on the stain and it works great.

    I have always used Hydrogen Peroxide.I worked in the medical field and that’s where I got it from.It really works.Always keep it in your medicine cabinet, not just for emergencies but excellent for blood stains on your clothes.

    My dad was on dialysis for years, and often he bled after the procedure on his clothes.

    He swears by hydrogen peroxide. It fizzes up and removes the stain. It has worked for me too…

    I have had this happen several times when I got a bloody nose, best thing to do is to immediatly run your clothing under cold water and flush out the stain while its still wet, or if your at work or school just blot it out with a paper towell.

    If its after the fact, hydrogen peroxide works very well

    I am a Phlebotomist (draws blood) and we have always used Peroxide. Works wonders. Let it soak for a while if it has been sitting.

    I have no idea what ingredient does the trick, but Head and Shoulders shampoo works very well on blood stains, even set ones. Honest!
