What is truly the best rust stain remover?

For a very old porcelain sink – and whenever water hits the "spot" the rust comes right back. Any suggestions?

    The old proclean singks are treasures,and I would suggest cleaning it up and using a faucet water softner.

    Depends on how much you want to or can damage the thing you are removing. Naphta takes a long time but it works without much damage, other spirits are faster but will definitely strip. WD 40 works as well but for me I use naphta.

    Try Hydrogen Peroxide. It might work. It works well removing blood stains. If not, look it up on answers.com and about.com

    I have used many different products but the best was Barkeeper's Friend. Sprinkle the powder on the wet spot let sit fo five minutes and scrub, rinse and should be gone!

    ZEP Calcium, Lime & Rust remover. This is a commercial grade and can be found in hardware stores.
