Does Urine Gone really work, or is a home remedy better? If so does anyone know a formula for home remedy?

Buy some biological washing powder and sprinkle it dry on the wet patch to absorb most of the dampness.

Then scrub the area with a strong solution of biological washing powder with warm water.

This will kill the enzymes in the urine which encourage re-soiling. I also then put my cats feeding bowl in the corner where they’ve urinated – they shouldn’t wet where they eat.

There is a great product called Equalizer. It gets out stains from pet marking amazingly well(incidentally, it is great for all other types of stains too, like permanent marker on carpets). It also removes the odor, which discourages re-marking.

Common pepper always worked for me, at least in the area of re-soiling.
