what works best on a set in ink stain?

i've washed and dried theses pants already and now the ink has set in is there anything that i can use that will get this stain out?

    It partly depends on the ink. I work around printers and there are all kinds of things that will remove inks. One of the best I have found is 3M adheasive remover. Now it depens on the fabric, it could stain it or bleach it out. I will add a link below so you can see exactly what I am talking about. I recomend useing it on the safe area tucked away inside somewhere first to see what it does.

    Or the second thing that should be done first. What brand pen… was it? Go to there website and see what they have in the FAQ area. Likely you are not the first to have this problem so they may have easy quick fixes right there. I know so simple it is often over looked.

    OxiClean may help but once you dried them (in a dryer) it is difficult to impossible to get out even with Rit's dye release powder.

    rubbing alcohol… works all the time.. cheap & will get out ANY ink… i've used on ink pens… markers… u may have to let it sit in a sink or tub w/ it soakin in it.. but don't give up.. since u have tried it several times… it will come out.
