What’s the best way to remove coffee stain from my glass coffee pot?

Someone suggested vinegar but that didn’t work. Dishwashing liquid can’t get it out either. I’m afraid to try commercial bleach for health safety concerns

    if it’s a coffe maker machine try dropping a denture cleaner tablet in the water and then run a cycle through… it might not matter if you use cold or warm but that worked for me cleaning an office carafe and machine.

    try scrubbing with baking soda and a little salt. abrasive enough to get at the stain but it won’t scratch the glass.

    I’ve heard that you can use baking soda on dishes and coffee pots to brighten them and remove stains. Just sprinkle some baking soda in your coffee pot, put a little water in it, and scrub it. It shouldn’t scratch it and as we all know, baking soda is a very healthy product. You can obviously put it in foods and you can drink baking soda water if you have an upset stomach, but it also has powerful cleaning and deodorizing capabilities.

    Put about 6 ice cubes in the pot and then pour some salt in it and shake it around. Repeat if necessary and then wash with soap and water.

    Try using a baking soda solution. If that doesn’t work then try using vinegar. You can, also, use the vinegar to clean the unit of your coffee maker to remove the alkali from the heating element, but you need to follow the manufacturers instructions when cleaning the unit. Good luck.

    Baking soda on a sponge moistened with the juice of a lemon.

    A really good way is to put some oxyclean in the pot and fill it with hot water. It will make it look new.

    I have also tried the ice cubes and the salt, and that does work, but still the best way is the oxyclean

    diluted bleach will work fine…..glass is non-pourous so it will not harm you once you have ran it through the dishwasher

    wipe them with clorox, then wash with warm water, followed by liquid detergent with lemon scent, soak them in a baking soda mixture ( its safe )

    Put just a tad of dish soap and some crushed ice and just swish it around til it come clean thats how I clean mine and it works

    Use three cups straight vinegar for cleaning. If you’re cleaning your pot every week, fill your coffee pot with equal parts water and vinegar. Pour the vinegar or vinegar solution into your coffee maker and let it run through the machine. If your machine is clogged or it’s been a while, repeat this process with fresh vinegar. Once the vinegar has been run through, turn off your coffee maker and let it rest and cool down for a little while. After about thirty minutes fill your coffee pot with clean cold water and run this through the coffee maker. Repeat this process two or three times until the vinegar, as well as the calcium, lime or other deposits are removed from the inside of the machine. Turn off the coffee maker and let it cool down. Fill your sink with warm, soapy water. You can use any dish detergent for this. Remove the coffee filter cup, permanent coffee filter (if your machine uses one) coffee pot and lid, and place them in the soapy water to soak. If you’d like, you can add a cup of vinegar to the water which will make the glass coffee pot shine. With a sponge, give all of the components in the sink a good scrubbing and rinse with clean warm water. Place everything upside in your dish drain to dry. If you air dry the glass coffee pot you’re less likely to have spots or streaks than if you dry it with a dish towel. Take your soapy sponge and give the coffee maker itself a rub down making sure to clean off any old coffee or dirt from the exposed surfaces. Rinse with a clean damp sponge and dry with a cloth. When everything is dry, put your machine back together.

    I use the Mr. Clean Magic Eraser to get rid of coffee stains on my counter top and inside the coffee maker. It should remove the stains from glass. Just wet it very little and scrub. It works for me!

    Two to four tablespoons baking soda and fill with hot water. Works wonders. Just leave it sit for about half an hour. It’ll look like new.
