    Stay away from anything that has OXY in it, per the "Queen of Clean". She has written books and has her own spot here in the Phoenix area and swears against it. I use "Shout" and have wonderful results, however it may be worth your while to go the the "Queens" site and decide just what type of stain should be treated with what. They are all from different chemical compounds, and thus require a different chemistry to get rid of them. Good luck!!!

    Just a little bit of baking soda (or bi-carb) rubbed into the stain covering it and then pour white vinegar over. Let it soak for a bit then wash as normal. You will get about 12months worth of stain remover for bout $2.50 this way. Works just as good.

    For an actual stain, Oxyclean works better. For greasy stains, spray and wash, shout, or undiluted laundry detergent.

    Believe it or not, I don’t know because I use the cheapest solution: lemon juice. It requires some scrubbing, but it works soooo well that I don’t use anything else. I buy reallemon in a bottle and I keep it in the fridge.

    I have used them all. My family has always used spray and wash and i think it works great. But i know that oxy clean works really well also. I dont think shout is as good.
