White out is a toughy, BUT try some Acetone. It is sold in the paint dept. in Walmart or any paint store. We used to use it in the retail clothing dept. of a fine dept. store. It removes lipstick, grease and many other things. You could probably try acetone nail polish, but I would recommend the pure acetone first, because the blanket means so much to you. I have used it to even remove lacquer!! And YES it worked!! I would put a small amount on the stain itself, just to "loosen" it then use a rag with the acetone on it and lightly scrub. The acetone dries vary quickly. Good luck and let us know. :)

    Try some rubbing alcohol.=)

Goo Gone will remove the stain and it is not smelly like acetone.

The trick is a citrus base product.
