Will a blood stain come out after setting in for about 8-9 hours?

I just had a nose bleed and some drops got on my red shirt. I am at work so I can not leave to soak or wash it. I really like this shirt. Is it still salvageable?
I did dab the drops with soap and cold water.

Yes it will! I use Shout spray, and it works wonderfully. I have never needed to even scrub! My wonderful hubby came home from hunting with blood all over his brand new khakis. It had been sitting like that for about one week. I didn’t have much hope, but sprayed Shout all over them, let them sit for a few minutes, and then washed as normal. His pants were back to looking like new! Good luck!

Yes it should come out. Soak it in lukewarm water and wash once you can see the stains have lifted. What works for me is spraying it with a stain remover (any brand) and scrubbing it with a toothbrush (old). This almost always removes all of my laundry stains. Wash in cold or warm water. Don’t dry it until you look at it or you will set in the stain in the dryer.

When you get home, rinse the shirt in cold water. For any stains that are set in, use straight peroxide and let it sit for 10-15 minutes, then wash the shirt in cold water.

My girls have let their "unmentionables" sit in the clothes hamper for a week or so without even rinsing the stains. The above procedure works for me every time.
