I’ve had that problem. Get some Dawn (original blue only), mix it into some warm water and get a white towel and an iron.

Get the towel wet in the water with the Dawn dishsoap in it. *About 1/2 a sinkfull with about 3-4 squirts of the Dawn. Fold the towel so that its about 2x thickness. Lay it down on top of the stain. Get the iron and set it at a low setting, and place it on top of the white towel. Check it often to make sure that its not burning the towel if the towel gets too dry. The heat and the Dawn will make the red soda/koolaid soak into the towel. Keep moving the towel and the iron around so you get all over the stain. Depending on how big the towel is, I suggest a hand sized towel, you should be able to get 3 rounds with ironing on before you have to go rinse the towel. Keep moving the towel and iron to a part that has not yet soaked up the red soda. You may need to do a section more than once but it WILL get it out.

We use a product called "Spot Shot" on light-colored carpets. It is the best I hae ever used on red stains – wine, Kool Aid, etc. Test a spot first to make sure it does not remove any color from the carpet. Spot Shot comes in an aerosol can and you can buy it at most hardware or discount stores. It cost about $4.00 a can. Red stains are VERY difficult to remove. I do not like RESOLVE. Woolite is OK, but I doubt it will remove all of a red stain.
