I always use cream, so does that lessen the staining effects of coffee?

Yes, coffee will stain your teeth and so will tea ,( no matter how much you lighten it) best to rinse after drinking it, plain water will do, so that the beverage doesn’t sit on yur teeth. Use a little baking soda to brush with, a few times a week, this will brighten them up.

I don’t know, how much coffee do you drink? I guess it has more to do with the amount of coffee and possibly with your teeth. I been a coffee lover for many years but it has never given me stained teeth,

No, it still stains them, and the cream makes you fat… it’s a lose, lose. LOL I still drink coffee, with cream, tho. :) Use a whitening toothpaste twice a day and you won’t notice any bad staining.
