Will my laundry detergent leave a stain?

I was going to wash a load of laundry, so I put it in the washer and poured liquid laundry detergent all over it. Unfortunately, something came up right before I was going to start the wash, so I had to leave the laundromat immediately. So I took my clothes out and figured I would wash them later that day…but I was unable to do that. So the detergent dried and now it looks like my clothes have stains on them.

They will go away once I do laundry today, right?

Let it soak for a while in warm water. If the stain does not come out do not dry it with heat, and wash again.

Let the water soak there for awhile, then turn on the machine to start the wash.

    It depends on the material.
    It can stain silk items.
It will probably stain most items except socks

It should go away. I would just pre soak them in cold water first then run a regular cycle, adding very little detergent since they already have lots on them.
