Windex gets rid of nail polish stains in the carpet, does Windex Anti-bacterial work too?

purple nail polish on sleeping friends carpet= bad. and all i have is windex anti bacterial and i hear windex gets rid of nail polish stains on carpets, it seems to be working though now…

    If you can remove nail polish from a carpet with Windex, I’ll be a monkey’s uncle. This particular difficult cleaning job requires a pro who can dissolve the stain and then extract/rinse it from the carpet fibers. To locate this certified pro, go to http://www.iicrc.org. He/she has the correct products to use that will not penetrate to the carpet backing and soften it, they can then fully rinse/extract the solution and stain from the carpet fibers.
