    I haven’t tried it on blood specifically, but I have found that if you spray and wash on carpet and wipe it with a shout wipe, it usually takes the stain out.

    Roll it up (preferably with the body inside……) take it to your local rubbish dump and set fire to it…..go and buy new carpet, or sand and polish em….its easier to get blood out…..

    Or you could try not killing people in your home, someone is bound to get upset by it….usually the cops….

    Peroxide is good for blood stains on clothes, etc. You may want to try a small amount in an inconspicuous corner or under a chair, etc. If it doesn’t take out your carpet color or anything try a small amount on the stain. If it has been set in for a while it may be hopeless. I won’t ask how you got a large blood stain.

    Here is a tip from Mrs Clean, a professional cleaning site. Important to do it as soon as possible because the stain can set and then be impossible to clean.

    Blood Stains On Carpeting

    * Pour a bit of cold water or a layer of salt onto the stain to keep it from setting.
    * Use hydrogen peroxide on the area. It will usually dissolve the stain quickly, in a matter of minutes
    * No need to rinse.
    * A professional cleaning may be helpful.

    Here is one excellent method for removing blood stain from clothing.

    1. Soak the item that has blood stain in cold water.
    2. Allow to sit for about 30 minutes to an hour.
    3. Make a paste of cornstarch, cornmeal and talcum powder (teaspoon of each.)
    4. Spread onto the stain and allow it to dry there.
    5. Brush away the paste after it has dried for a clean piece of clothing.

    In addition to this, another process is to follow the same soaking as above but to use powdered meat tenderizer and more cold water to rinse the stain away. Allow the clothing to sit for an hour in cold water and tenderizer for thirty minutes then rinse from back to front.

    This works on laundry, you MAY want to try it on your carpet. I don’t think there is any way it would hurt the carpet. If you try it, let me know if it works:
    1.) Make a paste with meat tenderizer and a little water.
    2.) Using an old tooth brush, scrub the stain with the paste.
    3.) Allow to set for a while, possibly over night (this allows the enzymes in the meat tenderizer time to "digest" the stain).
    4.) Remove paste with a steam cleaner.

    What I would use would be Spray 9. I swear that will remove anything. Spray it on and wait awhile then soak the hot water to it and start soaking it up. Should work.

    regular bar soap and a good stiff brush. with cold water
